FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: with Special Guest Headline the Miller Lite Main Stage at 2014 Fair

WAUKESHA, WI (January 28, 2014) --- Two popular rock bands from the ‘80s, Ratt and Dokken, will light up the Main Stage at the 172nd Waukesha County Fair at 7:30 pm on Saturday, July 19.

Ratt's signature sunset strip sound made the Los Angeles-based band one of the most popular rock acts of the mid-'80s. Ratt helped pioneer Hollywood's legendary sound and are proven true rock legends, headlining massive arena tours and selling more than 15 million in the U.S. alone.

Dokken is a multi-platinum heavy metal and hard rock band formed in 1978. They have since released numerous charting singles, received a Grammy nomination in 1989 and sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Dokken is currently touring with founder and original member .

Main Stage acts are free with paid admission to the Fair. Special up-front seating is also available with VIP and Elite tickets which will go on sale April 1 while supplies last.

July 16-20, 2014 marks the 172nd anniversary of the Waukesha County Fair, the oldest Fair in the state of Wisconsin. The Waukesha County Fair Association is a non-profit volunteer organization that is completely separate and receives no funding from Waukesha County or the City of Waukesha.
