To the knowledge of long-horned beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) of the Oriental Region. Part 2. Acta Biol. Univ. Daugavp., 19 (2): 287 – 295. New distributional records are presented for 85 little-known species of long-horned beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) of the Oriental Region. Findings of five species presents the first faunistic data after the original description: Callimetopus bumbierisi Barševskis, 2018, C. juliae Barševskis, 2016, C. miroshnikovi Barševskis, 2016, Pseudodoliops elegans apoensis Barševskis, 2019, Synixais willietorresi Barševskis, 2018. Three species are recorded for the first time from certain area: Anaestathes biplagiatus Gahan, 1901 from Vietnam, Tetraophthalmus dimidiatus (Gory, 1844) from Sumatra (Indonesia), and Grammoecus polygrammus Thomson, 1864 for Siberut (Indonesia). Key words: Fauna, distribution, Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, rare species. Arvīds Barševskis. Additional The present study is the second part of a series of faunistic data about longhorned beetles of the articles, which providing the faunistic data about Oriental Region which are deposited in DUBC long-horned beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) were published recently by Barševskis (2019) of the Oriental Region. Altogether, 8 species under 3 subfamilies are already reported from Sunderban Biosphere Reserve. Present communication reports Batocera rufomaculata (De Geer, 1775) for the first time from this Biosphere reserve. Keywords: Sunderban Biosphere Reserve, Cerambycidae, Lamiinae, Batocera Introduction Sunderban region in India is 9600 sq km (4200 sq km of Reserved Forest and 5400 sq km of non-forest, inhabited region) which constitutes the Sunderban Biosphere Reserve (SBR). Indian Sunderban is bound on the west by river Muriganga and on the east by rivers Harinbhahga and Raimangal. Administrative boundary of the Sunderban is spread over two districts i.e. North 24-Parganas (Hingalganj, Hasnabad, Haroa, Sandeskhali - I,II, and Minakhan blocks) and South 24-Parganas (Sagar, Namkhana, Kakdwip, Patharpratima, Kultali, Mathurapur-I,II, Jaynagar-I,II, Canning-I,II, Basanti and Gosaba blocks). The extent of mangrove Reserve Forests in Indian Sunderban is around 4260 sq km, out of which 55% is under land vegetation cover and balance 45% is under water body/ inter-tidal zone. Studies on beetles and weevils (Coleoptera) in Sunderban region is very poor.

ZooKeys 604: 49–85. doi: 10.3897/zookeys.604.9049 Abstract The genus Pseudoechthistatus Pic, 1917 is redefined and revised. Five species of the genus are described as new, P. sinicus sp. n. and P. chiangshunani sp. n. from central Yunnan, China, P. pufujiae sp. n. from west- ern Yunnan, China, and P. holzschuhi sp. n. and P. glabripennis sp. n. from southern Yunnan and northern Vietnam. Pseudoechthistatus birmanicus Breuning, 1942 is excluded from the fauna of China. Three poorly known species, P. obliquefasciatus Pic, 1917, P. granulatus Breuning, 1942, and P. acutipennis Chiang, 1981 are redescribed, and the type localities of the former two species are discussed. Endophallic structure of seven species in inflated and everted condition are studied and compared with their relatives.

Bibliography of each species usually includes the geographical information from corresponding publications. Many new taxonomy positions published after 2010 are used here without special remarks. Agapanthia (Epoptes) dahli ustinovi Danilevsky, 2013 stat. nov. is downgraded from the species level. Two species are described as new Phytoecia (Parobereina) pashtunica sp. n. from Afghanistan and Phytoecia (Parobereina) heinzi sp.n. from Pakistan. Zootaxa 2882: 35–50 (2011) ISSN 1175-5326 (print edition) www.mapress.com/zootaxa/ Article ZOOTAXA Copyright © 2011 · Magnolia Press ISSN 1175-5334 (online edition) Review of the genus Paragolsinda Breuning, 1956 (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Lamiinae, Mesosini), with reconsideration of the endophallic terminology JUNSUKE YAMASAKO & NOBUO OHBAYASHI Entomological Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Ehime University, Tarumi, Matsuyama, 790-8566 Japan E-mail: [email protected] Abstract The genus Paragolsinda Breuning, 1956 is reviewed. To date, only the type species of the genus, P. fruhstorferi Breuning, 1956 has been known. Two species of the genus Mesoereis Matsushita, 1933, M. tonkinensis Breuning, 1938 and M. ob- scurus Matsushita, 1933, are transferred to the genus Paragolsinda by the features of external structure judged from the photographs of the type specimen of P. fruhstorferi. A new species, Paragolsinda siamensis sp. nov. from Northern Thai- land, is described. The structures of endophallus except for the type species are described with illustrations. The terminol- ogy for the structure of endophallus employed in our previous paper is partly modified in accordance with recent references. Key words: Cerambycidae, Mesosini, endophallus, endophallic terminology, new species, new combination, Paragolsin- da, Mesoereis, key Introduction The genus Paragolsinda was established by Breuning (1956) based on a Vietnamese species, P. fruhstorferi Breun- ing, 1956. Since then, no one has referred to this genus except for Breuning (1959). In the course of our studies of Asian Mesosini, we examined the male genitalia of several species related to this genus. As a result, we concluded that Mesoereis tonkinensis Breuning, 1938 and M. obscurus Matsushita, 1933 should be transferred to the genus Paragolsinda.

210 MR. GOULD ON THE ANDALUSIAN HEMIPODE. [May 8, fortunately, lost its abdomen, and the prolegs in both sexes of Hypnu are exceedingly similar in construction. DESCRIPTION OF PLATE XXIII. Fig. 1. Hypna glohosa. Fig. 5. Hypna talox. 2, 3. -hiiebieri. 6. -rufrsccm. 4. -huebieri, var. I 7. -elonyatrr. hlay 8, 1866. Dr. J. E. Gray, F.R.S., V.P., in the Chair. Mr. Sclater called the attention of the Meeting to several interest- ing species of Mammals and Birds observed during his recent visit to the Gardens of the SociCtC Zoologique d‘Acclimatation of Paris. Amongst these were particularly noticed an example of the Orys beisa of Riippell, being the only living specimen Mr. Sclater had seen of this fine Antelope, and some examples of the new variety of the Scemmering’s Pheasant lately described by Mr. Gould (Ann. N. H. ser. 3. vol. xvii. p. 150) as Phasiunus (Gruphophasianus) scin- tillans. It appeared that this variety had been received from Yoko- hama, Japan, while the ordinary Phasianus sminmeringii was stated to be found near Simoda, so that the probability was that these two birds were representative forms inhabiting different islands. Mr. Alfred Newton exhibited from the collection of William Borrer, Esq., F.L.S., a specimen of the Sylvia apzlatica of Latham, which had been obtained in England, as certified by the following note from that gentlemeu :- “My specimen was shot on the 19th of October, 1853, in an old brick-pit a little to the west of Hove, near Brighton, and was stuffed by Mr. H.
