In 1982, I received my Doctor of Medicine from the 26 University of California San Francisco (UCSF), School of Medicine. In 1985-1986, I served as the Chief Resident of the UCSF Department of 3 Psychiatry at San Francisco General Hospital and was responsible for direct clinical 4 supervision of seven psychiatric residents and three to six medical students.
