Submissions date extended Issue date: 4 March 2020

The Senate Select Committee on Administration of Sports Grants DATE REFERRED has extended the date for submissions to its inquiry into 5 February 2020 the administration and award of funding under the Community Sport Infrastructure Grant Program. SUBMISSIONS CLOSE The committee has now invited submissions by Friday 1 May 2020 1 May 2020, and is particularly interested to hear from individuals and organisations with experience of the program. PUBLIC HEARINGS Terms of reference 13 February 2020 The committee is examining this matter with particular reference Canberra to: 27 February 2020 • program design and guidelines; • requirements placed on applicants for funding; Canberra • management and assessment processes; 28 February 2020 Canberra • adherence to published assessment processes and program 10 March 2020 Adelaide criteria; • the role of the offices of the then Minister for Sport, the 12 March 2020 Melbourne Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, and any 16 March 2020 Canberra external parties, in determining which grants would be awarded and who would announce the successful grants; REPORTING DATE and 24 June 2020 • any related programs or matters.
