Highly recommended! day 5 Kibber home of magnificient snow leopards, Ibex, and Tibetan wolf, Kibber is the most popular village of the valley. Surrounded by limestone rock mountains, landscape of the village is captivating. KAZA Gette the vistas surrounding the Gette village are all mountains of limestone rocks which adds more colors to this beautiful valley Tashigang is at an altitude of 4500 Mtrs where the motorable road ends. Due to loose gravel sometimes the vehicle struggles on reaching the top. Strict follow-up of timelines is necessary to ensure safe arrival at destination. - Riders can keep one bag in the back-up vehicle. Allowed limit: 15 KGs. - No alcohol allowed throughout the ride. - All riders are are expected to conduct themselves to the best of their behaviour at all times. They must, at all times be considerate towards other riders, support staff and the locals we come across during our ride. - Please be environmentally conscious during the ride. Do not litter. - If you are under any medical treatment, please inform our support staff before we start the ride. We expect you to strictly follow your medication and medical advice at all times. - Get your bike serviced 10-15 days before the ride. - No overtake allowed. Riders need to strictly follow the lead and marshall at all times. - If for any reason you do not feel fit enough to concentrate and ride, inform the ride official about the same. It might be the small difference between life and death. ESSENTIALS PREPARING YOUR AVENGER We strongly recommend getting your Avenger serviced at least 10-15 days before the start of the ride, at your nearest Bajaj Service Centre. - All Necessary Vehicle docs - registration, insurance, PUC, etc Ensure that the following are addressed: - Extra pair of shoes - Camera with Extra Battery and memory cards - Have the rims balanced and inspect your tyres and suspensions. - Neck protection - Power bank - Inspect the seals of the front forks. - Protective jackets & pants - Change of clothes - Check the rear swing-arm bush for wear and tear; replace if necessary. - Torch - Lots of warm clothes and thermals - Check the chain and the rear sprocket for wear. - Personal essentials - Wind cheaters - Clutch is really crucial for this trip. Make sure the clutch is in good order. - Light, high energy snacks - Warm and if possible, waterproof layers - Check the batter and earthing connections. - Any prescribed medicines - Pollution masks, preferrably N99 or higher - Check the play in the steering column and replace the ball race bearing if necessary. - Check all cables and if any are bent or frayed, replace them..
