Toughness. Unselfishness. Compete. These four attributes breed success,” said head coach Todd Phillips after catching up with him about this upcoming season. “These four things we be- lieve our team needs in order to win.”

Overlook of the team .

“I am really excited about this year’s team,” Coach Phillips said. “We have a very sophomore laden team which will help on the experience side and hopefully get us through the grind of the season. This year’s team checks a lot of boxes when going down the list of attributes that you look for in really strong team.”

How are the guys looking?

“We shoot the ball really well, have multiple guys who can handle the ball, and have good length a crossed the board,” coach said. “I am excited to see how these guys gel as the season progresses. I like the energy and tempo that we play at. We have a lot of guys with really good motors. This should help us in a long grueling season. I like our depth as well. We don’t drop when we substitute guys in.”

How has the preseason been?

“We have been working really hard in preseason to get stronger and be in shape,” he continued. “That’s the first battle of the season is to get your body right so you can do the things you need to do to be successful.”

What can the fans expect?

“I think fans can expect big things for this group,” Phillips concluded.
