We hope you find them both informative and thought-provoking. As well, we entered a new era of leadership in The University of Iowa Department of Orthopaedics, as Dr. Joseph A. Buckwalter became the department’s fourth chairman on July 1, 1999. Dr. Buckwalter’s vision and guidance promise to maintain
