As the center of Buddhism, Mt. Palgongsan has many temples scattered throughout over the mountain area including Donghwasa Temple, the main temple of the 9th branch of the Korean Buddhist Jogye Order. The most beautiful autumn leaves street in Korea stretches for about 16.3km along the ring road, creating a breathtaking view in autumn. The snowy landscape and snow flowers create a beautiful harmony. General info Change of Status of Stay ¤Foreigners must receive permission to change the status of their stay if they want to participate in new activities that are not relevant or permitted under their current status. ¤However, should it be possible to meet the requirements for the new status without having to depart from Korea, a limited change of status can be made upon passing a rigid examination. ¤How to apply: present the required documents to the local immigration office prior to engaging in the activities not permitted by the current status of stay.
