About Ramsey is stout and warm, rectangular with rounded edges, and dynamic with swift cuts. Ranging from thin and condensed to extended and black, Ramsey has seen applications in sports teams to movie titles and even art magazines.

Through the years, Ramsey has proven itself to be a true workhorse of a font. This version has a lot of minor updates to the form and spacing, and we now see an ex- tended family to complete it’s legacy.

How big must the original structure be in order to P. Ramsey, is a branch of ensure that at least one of the pieces has a given that studies the conditions under interesting property? This idea can be defined which order must appear in relation as partition regularity. For example, consider a complete graph of order n; that is, there are n to disorder. Problems in Ramsey vertices and each vertex is connected to every other theory typically ask a question of the vertex by an edge. A complete graph of order 3 is form: "how many elements of some called a triangle. Now colour every edge red or blue. How large must n be in order to ensure that there is structure must there be to guarantee either a blue triangle or a red triangle? Another way to express describes Ramsey theory as a branch this result is as follows: at any party with at least six people, there are three people who are all either of combinatorics. Many generalizations of this theorem exist, including Rado's number, one of the largest numbers ever used in serious mathematical proof, is theorem, Rado–Folkman–Sanders theorem, Hindman's theorem, and the Milliken– an upper bound for a problem related to Ramsey theory. Another large example is Taylor theorem. Theorems in Ramsey theory are generally one of the following two types. Many such theorems, which are modeled after Ramsey's theorem itself, assert that Results in Ramsey theory typically have two primary characteristics. Firstly, they in every partition of a large structured object, one of the classes necessarily are non-constructive: they may show that some structure exists, but they give no contains a large structured subobject, but give no information about which class process for finding this structure (other than brute-force search). For instance, the this is. In other cases, the reason behind a Ramsey-type result is that the largest pigeonhole principle is of this form. Secondly, while Ramsey theory results do say partition class always contains the desired substructure. The results of this latter that sufficiently large objects must necessarily contain a given structure, often kind are called either density results or Turán-type result, after Turán's theorem. the proof of these results requires these objects to be enormously large – bounds Notable examples include Szemerédi's theorem, which is such a strengthening of that grow exponentially, or even as fast as the Ackermann function are not uncom- van der Waerden's theorem, and the density version of the Hales-Jewett theorem. mon. The causal sets program is an approach to quantum gravity. Its founding in which space time is fundamentally discrete while retaining local Lorentz principles are that spacetime is fundamentally discrete (a collection of invariance. Given a causal set we may ask whether it can be embedded into discrete spacetime points, called the elements of the causal set) and that a Lorentzian manifold. An embedding would be a map taking elements of spacetime events are related by a partial order. This partial order has the the causal set into points in the manifold such that the order relation of the physical meaning of the causality relations between spacetime events. causal set matches the causal ordering of the manifold. A further criterion is needed however before the embedding is suitable. If, on average, the number The program is based on a theorem[1] by David Malament that states that if of causal set elements mapped into a region of the manifold is proportional there is a bijective map between two past and future distinguishing space to the volume of the region then the embedding is said to be faithful. In this times that preserves their causal structure then the map is a conformal case we can consider the causal set to be 'manifold-like' isomorphism. The conformal factor that is left undetermined is related to the volume of regions in the spacetime. This volume factor can be recovered A central conjecture to the causal set program is that the same causal set by specifying a volume element for each space time point. The volume of a cannot be faithfully embedded into two spacetimes that are not similar space time region could then be found by counting the number of points in on large scales. This is called the Hauptvermutung, meaning 'fundamental that region. conjecture'. It is difficult to define this conjecture precisely because it is difficult to decide when two spacetimes are 'similar on large scales'.
