SEPTA Airport Line platforms can be accessed from the pedestrian walkways between the terminals and the bag claims at Terminals A-East, B, C, D and E (Terminal F passengers board/exit at Terminal E). On SEPTA Regional Rail trains, passengers can always purchase the ticket on board; and at many stations that is the only option (unless you purchase in advance from another location). The Airport stations are among the stations where you must purchase the ticket on board from the conductor (cash only). NOTE: Tickets purchased on board cost more than those purchased in advance, even if there is no advance ticket option. The one-way to Center City (Philadelphia) is $8.00 cash only (as of 11 May 2016.) For an additional dollar, you can purchase a transfer ticket that will allow you passage all the way to Trenton (NJ) on another SEPTA train line. You must tell the conductor your destination is Trenton at the time of purchase if you would like this option, which we highly recommend. If you do not, you will only be charged $8 but you will have to purchase another ticket to get from 30th Street Station to Trenton, at a considerably larger expense.

To get to the from 30th Street Station, you have 2 options:

• Option 1 (recommended): Take SEPTA from 30th Street Station toward Trenton Transit Station. If you explained to the conductor of the Airport Line train you wanted to do this, the ticket receipt issued will suffice for passage. Otherwise, for ticketing and fare information, please see http://www.septa.org/fares/ticket/. Tickets can be purchased in advance online, at the station, or on board the train from the conductor. This is a commuter train, and service is plentiful throughout the day.

• Option 2: Take the train: either toward Penn Station or toward Amtrak. In both options, Trenton station is 1 train stop away from 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. Most trains will only stop in Trenton if there are passengers on board to drop off, or passengers at the station to pick up. Make sure the Amtrak conductor knows Trenton is your stop. Ticketing information can be found at www.amtrak.com . Tickets can be purchased online or at the Amtrak Ticket Booth at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. These are express trains and will cost considerably more than the SEPTA commuter trains. Also keep in mind that service is limited to a few trains per day. If you don’t plan your schedule beforehand, you may have a considerable wait before a train departs. Note that the alternative SEPTA commuter trains offer service throughout the day, approximately every hour or less in between.

Once at the Trenton Transit Station take the NJ Transit train toward New York Penn Station to Princeton Junction. Before the train, look for either a NJ Transit booth or a NJ Transit self-serve ticket machine, and purchase your ticket to Princeton Junction. You may also purchase your ticket from the conductor when on the train at an extra charge. Keep in mind tickets can only be purchased with cash once aboard the train, and that there is an additional charge in this case. Visit www.njtransit.com for and schedules.
