3 COSTUMES

We choose each costume carefully to make sure every dancer shines on ! Our costumes are always age appropriate, high quality, and include accessories and tights.

MEASURE A VDC staff member will measure all dancers for their costumes during class. Student’s measurements will be used to choose the best size costume based on the company’s size chart.

ORDER To ensure that all costumes arrive on time for distribution in March, we order as early as late October. Some costumes will arrive quickly and others will have a longer production time. Costumes will not be ordered if your account is not up to date and may incur additional shipping fees.

ALTERATIONS Once costumes arrive at VDC and we have them processed, we will try them on during class time. Our staff will fit each costume and our seamstress will take care of needed alterations so that every dancer looks their best. Please keep in mind that costumes are mass-produced by large companies. We offer FREE alterations to achieve the best possible fit for your dancer. You are always welcome to seek out any further alterations at your own expense.

PICK UP: MARCH 19 2:30 - 6:30 PM • Sign up in advance for your costume pick up time using Sign Up Genius. Bring your dancer so we can ensure that everything fits. There will be no additional alterations once the costume has been taken home. What’s included with your costume: • Costume Sheet: including hair and make-up instructions and costume details • Garment Bag: All costumes and accessories should be kept in the provided bag until the recital. Before checking out your garment bag, please ensure that all items listed on your costume sheet are included in the bag. We are not responsible for lost/missing items once the bag has been checked out.
