To enable us to keep both our patients and staff safe we would ask that you adhere to the following guidance:- Please make sure you arrive on time for your appointment. On arrival, you will be asked to queue outside the building and will be called in when it is your turn. This is to ensure we maintain social distancing at all times. Please remove your outer clothing and have your arm ready so that the vaccinator can administer the injection, this will help to reduce the amount of face to face con- tact. We will be operating a one way system through the building and you will be shown where to exit following your appointment. We appreciate that this is a different way of holding our clinics and may bring some challenges however we will endeavour to run the clinics as smoothly as possible. We are awaiting further guidance in relation to the additional group of patients to be vaccinated this year, as recently announced by the government. We would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding during these difficult times. PLEASE REMEMBER ; YOU SHOULD NOT COME TO THE SURGERY IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS SUGGESTIVE OF COVID-19.

Church Words The Rectory 01886 888664

Though the world is a very strange place at the moment we are reassured by the seasons of life carrying on regardless. As the Hymn, ‘Great is they faithfulness’, re- flects; Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. Not only that but the chorus also gives thanks to the fact that; Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—Great is thy faithfulness Lord unto me.

As we celebrate Harvest this year it is going to be difficult to gather in large numbers in our churches and schools and village halls. However, we will be holding services of Harvest Thanksgiving across the team of churches which are open to all though we have to limit the numbers. We will also be offering a Harvest YouTube service so, if you cannot attend a service for whatever reason you can celebrate with us online. As I ponder this dilemma it reminds me of the importance of saying ‘thank you’. My mother always used to give me a look if I was given a treat to make sure I didn’t forget to say those magic words. Even though we may not be able to gather in our usual ways for Harvest services and suppers we can still say ‘thank you’, to those who have grown and farmed the food, those who distribute and sell it to us, and to a faithful God who oversees the creation which provided us with such goodness. As the famous harvest hymn says; All good gifts around us are sent from heav'n above; then thank the Lord, O thank the Lord for all his love.

I do hope and pray you are all keeping safe and well. I, like you, look forward to a day when we can gather more easily in numbers to celebrate the seasons of life and much more. In the meantime, may I share this famous Celtic blessing with you; May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

God bless you all. Canon David
