Through consultation sessions in the four wards conducting by Western Cape Department of Local Government, the community requested the following in terms of the change of logo: • Logo depicting diversity through colour and imagery • Kannaplant to remain • Recommended new – free – fonts • Include the use of Red • Develop slogan speaking to inclusivity • Resultant criteria for design: • Workability, Geometric Unique The new logo will be transformed as below: Mountain Silluette Kannaplant Wine Route The final logo was developed in terms of the characteristics as per requested by the public.
