Board members had to inform her that the paneling was quite a bit older than that; it dated back to when the dining room was added in the ’50s! After receiving approval, the moms planned fundraising efforts, interviewed remodelers and designers, and basically drove the project. Sigma Phi is grateful for their vision and hard work. Special thanks go to Lisa Williams and her husband, David, a noted local builder who volunteered his time and efforts on the remodel; Debi Yates for her work on forming the committees and selecting designs; and to the rest of the moms who played an integral part in the project’s success: Kim Dean, Cynthia Dutton, Kim Hodges, Patty Kurtz, and Diane Prince. The project was completed over the summer and the photos speak for themselves.
