Currently there are 6 different by-laws regulating these activities. The objective of the review is to harmonize these by- laws so that consistent standards and permit processes apply across the city; and to review permit fees for these sidewalk uses. At the same time, guidelines are being created to help inform the design and layout of sidewalk cafes to ensure sidewalks, and cafes located on sidewalks, are both safe and accessible. The draft bylaw and guidelines have been developed based on feedback from a series of public consultation meetings and surveys conducted with stakeholders in the fall and winter of 2014. The City is holding the following information sessions to obtain input on the direction of the draft bylaw and guidelines. The first session, on Monday September 21, is from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. All remaining sessions are from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 21: Metro Hall (Room 314) Tuesday, September 29: Etobicoke Civic Centre (Main Boardroom) Wednesday, October 7: East York Civic Centre (Council Chambers) Wednesday, October 14: North York Civic Centre (Committee Room 1) Thursday, October 15: Scarborough Civic Centre (Committee Room 1) Disability accommodations may be provided with 10 days advance notice. TTC 2022 Annual Service Plan Stakeholder Meeting Summary Thursday, June 24, 2021 6:00 – 8:00 pm Meeting held online Overview On Thursday, June 24th, 2021, the TTC hosted the first of two planned rounds of stakeholder consultation about its 2022 Annual Service Plan. The stakeholder group engaged includes representatives of city-wide and area-specific organizations with an interest in transit and service planning (see Participant List attached). This first round of consultation included both an afternoon session and an evening session, both of which covered the same material and discussion questions, and, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, took place via web conferencing software. This stakeholder meeting summary covers the evening session, which ran from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Approximately 9 participants attended the evening stakeholder meeting, along with staff from the TTC and Swerhun Inc., the third-party facilitation and engagement team retained by the TTC to support the consultation process on the 2022 Annual Service Plan. The purpose of the meeting was to share and seek feedback on the draft initiatives and priorities for the 2022 Annual Service Plan. The meeting included an overview presentation, question and answer period, and a facilitated, plenary discussion. Attachments included: Attachment 1. Agenda and Attachment 2. Participant List Swerhun Inc. prepared this meeting summary. A draft of the summary was subject to participant review before being finalized. The intent of this summary is to capture the range of feedback shared at the workshop; it is not intended to serve as verbatim transcript. HPV Vaccine Program Expansion - Vaccine Alert June, 2012 HPV Vaccine Now Free for All Females Born Between 1993-1999 The Ministry of Health and Long-term Care has expanded the provincial HPV vaccination program. Effective summer 2012, and on-going thereafter, female students who did not receive or finish the HPV vaccine series in Grade 8 may now receive publicly funded HPV vaccine until the end of Grade 12 through Toronto Public Health clinics. In addition, until June 2013, a one-time catch-up program will be available for females born between 1993 and 1994 to get vaccinated. (These females have already graduated from high school.) If you have female patients born between 1993-1999 who did not receive or finish a complete series of HPV vaccine, they can now receive funded vaccine for all doses. Publicly funded HPV vaccine is not available for males. Tell your eligible female patients born between 1993-1999 that free HPV vaccine is now available through Toronto Public Health clinics. The summer clinic schedule is listed below. Additional clinics will be set up in the fall.
