Judicial First Class Magistrate Court II, Kanjirappally is subordinate court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, . This establishment consists of one court.

Subordinate staff of this establishment consists of Junior Superintendent (1), Confidential Assistant (1), Senior Clerks (2), Clerks (4), Selection Grade Typist (1), LD Typist (1), Office Attendant (HG) (1) and Office Attendants (4).

The functions and duties of Judicial First Class Magistrate II, Kanjirappally is primarily based on administration of justice in its jurisdiction [ Police Station, Police Station, Police Station, Forest - Placherry & Pamba, Excise - Erumely & Kanjirappally].

To deal with the criminal matter which comes within its jurisdiction.

In the judicial and administrative side proceedings are channeled through Junior

Superintendent → Judicial First Class Magistrate → Inward Distribution →Concerned Clerks.

The functions of this court are discharged in accordance with the various rules and regulations constituted for the purpose. Issues are dealt with on priority basis, expeditiously taking in to account, the various instructions issue from superior courts from time to time.

 Documents and records pertaining to cases, pending and disposal.  Records sent by Appellate Courts.  Document and Records of administrative matters.

There is no arrangement to solicit the views of the members of the public in relation to the formulation of policies or implementation there of.

An internal complaint committee has been constituted in terms of preventing prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees at work place.

 Public can directly access the Touch-Screen (E-KIOSK) facility or enquiry can be made at the counter for information on status of cases filed.  Information on other matters can be obtained from the Public Information Officer as per provisions of the RTI Act, 2005.  No Library is maintained for public use.
