Tickets for Kathleen Madigan are $35 and are available online at lutherburbankcenter.org, by calling 707- 546-3600 or at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts ticket office (50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa). Comedian Kathleen Madigan, who Lewis Black calls “the funniest comic in America, bar none,” has a career spanning over 25 years including performances on nearly every standup television show ever made from Leno and Letterman to Conan and Ferguson as well as many more. She is often seen as a regular panelist on Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore and has done live remotes and commentary on numerous network shows including Dr. Phil, E!, TV Guide Network, VH1 and ESPN 2. The American Comedy Awards has nominated Madigan for “Best Concert Comic” and "Best Female Comedian” the latter of which she won. She is also the only comedian in the history of NBC's Last Comic Standing to go unchallenged by any other comedian--meaning no comedian would say they were funnier than her; she was a top three finalist in Season 2 and a judge on Season 5. The Detroit Free Press and PopMatters.com recently featured Madigan as one of the “9 Funniest Women on the Planet” alongside Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and her friend and fellow comic Ron White has stated that he believes that she is “easily one of the best comics alive.” In addition to her busy touring schedule, Madigan has done two USO tours of Iraq and Afghanistan and performed on five CMT specials hosted by Ron White with all proceeds donated to the Armed Forces Foundation. She has previously released five CDs, three DVDs, three Comedy Central specials and starred in two HBO specials. Madigan’s second one hour special Gone Madigan, premiered on Showtime and is available on Netflix.
