2 Sunset Cruise • Make an evening even more memorable by starting out with a refreshing beverage at sea on board our teakwood Oriental junk. Enjoy free ﬂowing soft drinks, house wine and beer with canapés as you admire the island from the sea, bathed in the golden hues of the setting sun.

3 Pangkor Island Excursion • Situated opposite Pangkor Laut, the island of Pangkor beckons with its colourful towns, traditional Malay homes and narrow-winding streets. Pangkor is known for being the site of the Pangkor Treaty, signed between a contender for the Perak throne and the British government in 1874 to mark the beginning of British colonialism in Malaya. Experience a true glimpse into life on a sleepy island with our guide. The excursion through the island, popular for its beaches, vivid ﬁshing boats and seafood products, includes a visit to the restored Dutch fort and Fu Lin Kung temple, a Taoist temple built into the hillside.

7 Walk in the spectacular virgin rainforest • Uncover the fascinating insights of a two million year old rainforest, as you get up close and personal to the interesting ﬂora and fauna. Our resident naturalist conducts daily walks while imparting informative knowledge on the rich plant and animal life that thrives within it. The jungle trek offer two levels of distance and difﬁculty - a refreshing short trek through the northern perimeter and a more invigorating long trek through the southern perimeter.

8 Yoga at Spa Villa Deck • Yoga combines physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation to unite the body and mind. It helps improve strength and ﬂexibility whilst improving muscle tone. Yoga sessions conducted at the Spa Villa Deck enjoys a fresh ocean breeze and the visually calming effects of water make the perfect setting for regaining physical and mental harmony.

10 One Island, One Resort • Spanning 300 acres of which 80% of the ancient rainforest has been preserved in its natural state with Pangkor Laut Resort and MUSE Pangkor Laut Estates woven seamlessly within. A British Colonel, Freddy Spencer Chapman DSO, was one of the ﬁrst Europeans to make Pangkor Laut his destination for thirty-six hours in May 1945. After spending three and a half years in hiding from the Japanese in the jungles of Malaya, Spencer Chapman made his way to Pangkor Laut’s Emerald Bay to escape by submarine. Despite the short visit, the beauty and tranquillity of the resort left a great impression on Spencer Chapman and his time on the island is detailed in his book “The Jungle is Neutral”.
