Stop Living Someone Else’s Life and Start Becoming who You are Meant to Be At one time or another, most of us have heard the expression “keeping up with the Joneses”, referring to a legendary family that has the world trying to keep up with them. They’re mentioned in tweets, movies, newscasts, articles, blogs, books, and more. They’re mysterious. They seem to be everywhere, but no one appears to have actually met them. Why is that? Too often we measure success by our accomplish- ments or the stuff we have accumulated. But life should be about so much more, like discovering who you are, why you are here, and the legacy you create. In Who Are the Joneses Anyway? you are led on your own “Joneses Journey”, asked relevant questions, and encouraged to be brave enough to seek the answers. The real-life approach and practical resources will help you get from where you are to where you want your life to be as you begin thinking less about your “what” and more about your “who.” WHOARETHEJONESESANYWAY.COM AVAILABLE NOW! + MANY OTHER RETAILERS 4 INSTRUCTIONS FOR FEEDBACK FORMS Drop each Feedback Form in the box with the ministry name on it at the check in desk as you leave General instructions: 1. COUNCIL FOR NATIONAL POLICY Board of Governors Brunch Event Sponsored by Alliance Defending Freedom May 15, 2015 MR. ALAN SEARS: It is so good to be with you. Good morning and bless you. Thank you, Tony for your gracious introduction, and Tim, thank you for the opening prayer, and thanks to all of you for joining us here today. We also want to thank the CNP Board of Governors for the privilege of again presenting this event in conjunction with the Council for National Policy. CNP members have been standing boldly and consistently for over thirty years for the Constitution, for the values and the beliefs the Alliance Defending Freedom was formed to defend every day in courts across the land, and increasingly across the globe. A few welcomes, today is with us a member of our ADF governing board, Mrs. Marjorie Dannenfelser. Marjorie, thank you for being with us. We are also honored and I would ask if you wouldn’t mind, Mary Ellen, to stand so people can see where you are, we are honored by the presence of Mary Ellen Bork, the wife of the late Judge Robert Bork who was the 2010 recipient. We also are especially honored this morning to have our 81st Attorney General of the United States, Mr. Michael Mukasey. All of you remember his stalwart defense of the Constitution, ordered liberty, and our great nation. He served for many years as federal judge and then chief judge of the southern district of New York. He was the trial judge for the first World Trade Center case involving what is commonly referred to as the blind chic.

Yet, while the majority of Americans support LGBT rights, these gains have produced a strong backlash. The hardline religious-right groups that have long relied on the use of demonizing falsehoods to justify discrimination against LGBT people have not simply folded their tents and walked away. Rather, they have used their large megaphone to create a dangerous new narrative that portrays Christians who object to homosexuality on biblical grounds as victims of religious persecution.
