FOREWORD Effective January 1, 2020, previous editions of the SCCA® National Solo® Rules are superseded by the following SCCA® National Solo® Rules. SCCA® reserves the right to revise these rules, to issue supplements to them, and publish special rules at any time at its sole discretion. Chang- es of this nature will normally become effective upon publication on the SCCA® website (www.scca.com); but may become effective immediately in emergency situations as determined by SCCA®. Finality Of Interpretation And Application. The interpretation and application of the SCCA® National Solo® Rules by SCCA® officials shall be final and binding. In order to promote the sport of automobile competition, to achieve prompt finality in competition results, and in con- sideration of the numerous benefits to them, all participants, including competitors and officials, expressly agree that: 1. They are familiar with the SCCA® National Solo® Rules and agree to abide by them; 2. Determinations by SCCA® officials are non-litigable; 3. They will not initiate or maintain litigation of any kind against SCCA® or anyone acting in behalf of SCCA® to reverse or modify such determinations, or to seek to recover damages or other relief allegedly incurred or required as a result of such determination; 4. If a participant initiates or maintains litigation in violation of this provision, that participant agrees to reimburse SCCA® for all costs of such litigation, including travel expenses and attorney fees.
