HSM has a very important mission: to Invite and Unite Teens to Encounter Christ, to empower them as His Disciples, and to inspire them to Love God and Serve His Church. That Mission comes straight from Jesus: it’s the Great Commission and the Greatest Commandment. We have this mission not because it looks good on a poster (I mean, it does), but because it focuses any program or idea we have, giving us permission to say “no” when necessary and reminding us to be open to where God might be calling us.

Next week, we are focusing on the Great Commission— We’re still two weeks out, but please mark your ”Go into the whole world and preach the Gospel to every calendars for our 8th Grade HSM Birthday Party! Come person.” Or, in our language: invite, unite, and join us for an evening of food, fun, friends, games, and empower. How can we as a parish, as volunteers, and prizes—like a child’s birthday party on steroids. I’m as the teens of HSM share the good news to the whole talking pinatas, capture the flag, and more cake than world? human beings need. And it’s a great opportunity to check out HSM, who we are and what we’re all about.
