Overnight we became the second largest gathering of South Asianists in the U.S. Effective October 18, 2007 we became the South Asian Studies Association, a California non-profit, public benefit corporation. A couple months later the IRS granted us 501(c3) tax exempt status retroactive to the date of incorporation. SASA III.
