Cameron Clark, 2012-2013 KCAC Freshman of the Year, played in 30 games for the Moundbuilders. He led Southwest- Upcoming Games ern in Scoring with 422 points (14.07 PPG), Field Goal Percentage (0.463), and Rebounding with 268 (8.93 RPG). He Feb. 22, 2014 was third overall in conference rebounding behind two seniors, and he was first in offensive rebounds. Clark recorded 5:00 PM Saint Mary @ Ottawa nine double-doubles last year, including a 28-point/13-rebound game against Bethany. In the KCAC, Clark was fourth 7:00 PM McPherson @ Southwestern in Field Goal Percentage and eighth in Scoring. 7:00 PM Bethany @ Bethel 7:00 PM (23) Friends @ Tabor Anthony White, 2012-2013 KCAC Defensive Player of the Year, led Friends in Scoring with 394 points (13.13 PPG), Field 7:00 PM (RV) Sterling @ Kansas Wesleyan Goal Percentage (0.681), and Rebounding with 250 (8.33 RPG). White recorded 10 double-doubles last year, including a 12-point/16-rebound game against Avila. In the KCAC, White was first in Field Goal Percentage, fourth in Rebounding, and seventh in Blocks.

All returning ALL-KCAC First Team, Second Team, Third Team, and Honorable Mention 2012-2013 performers were nomi- nated for preseason honors. Head Men’s Basketball Coaches also had the opportunity to nominate other key members from their teams. The team (listed below) is made up of nine seniors and one sophomore. Of the 10 athletes listed, four each are from Kansas and Texas. In addition to Clark and White, Idris Idris (Bethany) was selected unanimously by coaches. Friends leads the way with three athletes listed.

KCAC Coaches and Media Poll: Following the Kansas Collegiate Athletic College Men’s Basketball Media Day, votes were tabulated for both the KCAC Coaches’ and Media Preseason Polls. Friends University takes the top spot in each poll, with seven first place votes in the Coaches’ Poll and four in the Media Poll.

In the Media Poll, Friends University edges Tabor College by five points. The Bluejays tie the Falcons with four first place votes. University of Saint Mary comes in third, six points behind Tabor. McPherson College is voted fourth by the media, two points shy of Saint Mary. Both the Spires and the Bulldogs garnered two first place votes. 2013-14 NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll vote went to Sterling College. The Warriors were voted fifth, two points behind McPherson.

He ranks first in Rebounds 1127 1161 career wins at OU with 307. Carrier has led the Braves to five trips to the NAIA National Tournament (1993, 1995, 2002, 2008 and 2009). The Braves were NAIA District 10 Champions in ’93 and earned both the Rebounds per game 43.346 41.464 regular season and tournament KCAC Championships in ’95 and ’02. He had a stand-out career in both basketball and golf while at Bethany earning eight varsity letters. He was a two-time all-conference Blocks 118 65 performer in basketball and led the Swedes to back-to-back KCAC titles in 1980 and 1981. He was also a Blocks per game 4.538 2.321 member of the NAIA All-District 10 basketball team in 1981. Also an All-Conference performer in golf, Carrier was inducted into the Bethany College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996.

In addition to coaching basketball, Carrier has served Ottawa University as Director of Enrollment for three years, Director of Athletics for nine years and Dean of Student Affairs for four. He served as Vice-President of the KCAC and was voted KCAC Athletic Administrator of the Year three times (1999, 2000 and 2005). He was inducted into the Braves Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011.

Carrier is also an Associate Professor at OU and has taught in the Physical Education department as well as the Liberal Arts Studies program. His wife, Debbie, is an Associate Professor at Johnson County Community College. They have three children Skylar (23), Drew (17) and Kailea (13).
