The Department of Organization and Strategy at Tilburg University invites applications for tenure track assistant professor positions in International Business and Management, Business Policy and Strategy, Operations Management, and Organization and Management Theory, broadly defined. Candidates must possess an earned doctorate at the time of hire (though starting dates are flexible) and show the potential to conduct high quality .

The Department conducts high-quality research leading to publications in top journals. Faculty include Harry Barkema, Jean-Francois Hennart, Xavier Martin, Niels Noorderhaven, Aswin van Oijen, and Hans Pennings, among others. We have an ambitious and active PhD program in Business.

Tenure-track assistant professors teach two courses per year in English- language undergraduate programs and have no service tasks. The University provides access to databases and good research support in a research-oriented environment. The faculty of and Business Administration, of which the department of Organization and Strategy is a part, was ranked third in Europe in terms of publications by the University of Texas at Dallas, immediately behind INSEAD and London Business School.

The official language of the faculty and department is English. Most Dutch people speak English as well, so learning Dutch, while desirable, is not necessary. The quality of life in the is excellent. Tilburg University is located in Tilburg, in the South of the Netherlands near the Belgian border, and with excellent road and rail links to Antwerp, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, and London.
