Used Car salesrooms. Both perps are described as follows: Thin build, Salesrooms were average height, wearing purple hooded wind breakers, broken into. dark clothing & white tennis shoes. Both perps 2- Vehicles and appeared to be wearing black rubber gloves. The 3- sets of keys for windbreakers appear to have a logo over the left other vehicles were breast area. It was later discovered that a second vehicle had been stolen & 3 sets of keys for other vehicles were missing. Second vehicle stolen: A 2019 White Jeep Cherokee No license plate attached. This vehicle was also entered as stolen.

Home Invasion:

Block of Franklin River Dr. (Apartment Complex) for a Home Invasion. The R/P, reported that he received a phone call from his ex-girlfriend stating she just broke into his apartment. R/P’s niece & nephews were in his car and heard the statement. R/P states he also received a text message from his ex- girlfriend stating, "I know you're gonna call the police and tell them that I am the one who kicked in your door, which is fine because I already have a ton of warrants.” R/P emphasized to Officers that suspect does not and has never lived at his residence. They had a previous dating relationship which ended back in 2016. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

07/16/2021 15000 Stone Crossing Apartment door On 07/16/2021 Officers were dispatched to a Home 12:03pm (Apartments) was forced open. Invasion that had just occurred in the 15000 Block of Stone Crossing Drive. The known female suspect was discovered in the act by the R/P. The female subject fled the scene in a Blue Jeep. Officers spoke to the R/P. He stated that he had returned home on 07/16/2021 at approx. 11:00am. He found his front door wide open. He entered his residence and discovered his (ex-girlfriend), inside of his residence. She saw him, and ran down the stairs toward the front door. In the process of running down the stairs, she dropped her cell phone. The apartment had been ransacked and several articles of clothing are missing. A short time later, the female suspect returned and demanded her cell phone back. Evidence suggested that the female committed Home Invasion. Several items belonging to R/P were in the suspect’s vehicle. They were recovered and the female suspect was taken into custody for Home Invasion.

Twelve Mile RS – Recovered Stolen On 07/13/2021 at approx. 1:45am, Officers were 1:43am (Apartments) Manufacturer dispatched to the 26000 Block of W Twelve Mile JEEP Model Rd (Apartment Complex) in search of a stolen GRAND CHEROK Color 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The owner of the GRY - Gray Vehicle Year vehicle was alerted her vehicle's Uconnect had 2021 Body Style pinged at this location for over an hour. The 4D - 4 Door vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Detroit. The State MI vehicle was in the n/w corner of the complex, License Year 2021 parked and unoccupied. Status 07/13/2021 27000 Franklin Rd. A – Attempt UDAA Officer was dispatched to the 27000 Block of 3:50pm (Apartments) Manufacturer Franklin Rd. (Apartment Complex) to meet with DODGE Model Security. A resident’s vehicle was stolen and CHARGER Color recovered by Security to the rear of the Vehicle Year 2019 apartment building near the dumpsters. The Body Style 4D - 4 Door vehicle's rear passenger window was broken out, State the front passenger seat back was lowered and MI Description the front passenger lower dash panel was pulled White/Black W/ Yellow Lower Front Bumper down exposing wires and connectors. Notes Surveillance Video shows suspect vehicles and Rear passenger window broken, front passenger suspects enter onto the property around 3:50am. side lower dash pulled There was a Silver Jeep Liberty with accident down. damage to the left rear quarter panel seen around the victim’s vehicle. There was also a White Chrysler 300 seen following the victim's vehicle as one subject was steering the victim's vehicle & one subject pushing the vehicle from the rear. Investigation is on-going.

S - Stolen On 07/13/2021, R/P came to the front desk to 1:30am ( Apartments ) Manufacturer report his vehicle was stolen from the 27000 DODGE To: 07/13/2021 Model Block of Franklin Rd. (Apartment Complex), and CHALLENGER 10:00am Color that he had already recovered the vehicle BLK - Black Vehicle Year himself. 2020 Victim stated he parked his Black 2020 Dodge Body Style State MI Challenger in the parking lot of his apartment License Year Description complex on 07/13/2021 at approx. 1:30am. Black 2020 Dodge Challenger When he returned to the parking lot at 10:00am, his vehicle was gone. Victim activated his U-Connect app. to track the vehicle, and the vehicle showed to be in a residential neighborhood in the City of Detroit. Victim went to that location and found his vehicle parked on the street. The passenger door window was broken out and the passenger side dashboard had been damaged. His key no longer worked for the vehicle and had to be towed. Several items that were in the vehicle were taken. No suspect information.

the vehicle was being held and got the vehicle. Follow up investigation revealed that the fake driver’s license had the owners name but everything else including the picture was not the owner. It was later discovered that the picture on the fraudulent ID was the actual suspect. Detectives developed a suspect in this incident and a photo show was presented to witness at the police records bureau and the towing company. Both witnesses picked out the suspect. This case was presented to the OCPO for complaint and warrant.

Status From: 07/12/2021 25000 W Twelve Mile Rd. SR – Stolen & Recovered Victim states his 2021 White Dodge Durango was 10:00pm (Apartments) Manufacturer parked in the 25000 Block of W. Twelve Mile Rd. DODGE To: 07/13/2021 Model at his Apartment Complex. DURANGO 4:30am Color Sometime between 07/12/2021 10:00pm and WHI - White the following morning at 4:30am someone stole Vehicle Year 2021 the vehicle. There was evidence of broken glass Body Style 4D - 4 Door where the vehicle was parked. State MI The owner of the vehicle advised he had tracking License Year 2021 through u-connect and the vehicle was pinging at Description a location in the City of Detroit. 2021 White Dodge Durango R/T The area was checked by Detectives but the vehicle wasn’t located. DPD recovered the

vehicle on 07/14/2021 at 4:25pm at Davison & Arlington. No arrests were made.

Status 07/17/2021 25000 Northwestern Hwy RS – Recovered Stolen Officer was on patrol and driving through the 7:53am (Hotel) Manufacturer parking lot of Hotel in the 25000 Block of DODGE Model Northwestern Hwy. He observed an unoccupied CHARGER . Color Dodge Charger Scat Pack with an Ohio License GRY - Gray Vehicle Year Plate in the south end of the lot. The license 2021 plate was only attached by one bolt. The plate Body Style State MI came back registered to a 2015 Jeep. (Improper) Description Recovery Stolen Vehicle The Vin# on the vehicle came back as a Stolen License Plate was Vehicle out of Rochester, Michigan. confiscated, it was improper. The license plate on the vehicle was confiscated and the vehicle was recovered. Note: Officers responded back to the Hotel after the front desk clerk called PD to report that a subject came to the front desk saying his Dodge Charger Scat Pack was stolen and he wanted to review their surveillance video. Officers located this subject and his female friend at the hotel. The male subject was on his cell phone when Officers asked him if he was at the front desk asking about his missing vehicle. The subject stated no and then Officers could hear the person on the other end of the phone say, “What the F you go to the front desk for?” Both the male & female were uncooperative and denied any knowledge of the stolen vehicle. Both subjects were identified and released pending further investigation.

Sometime between 3:00am- 7:00am 7:00am someone smashed out the driver’s door window and took his handgun that was inside the vehicle. No suspect information.

Status From: 07/12/2021 26000 Franklin Pointe S - Stolen R/P came into the front desk to report that 4:00pm (Condo’s) Description someone stole her cell phone from her vehicle. Gray Motorola Cell phone To: 07/13/2021 The vehicle was parked at her Condo Complex in 2:00pm the 26000 Block of Franklin Pointe. Incident occurred sometime between 07/12/2021 4:00pm- 07/13/2021 2:00pm. No suspect information.

Status 07/15/2021 24000 Telegraph Rd. S - Stolen Employee at business stated that his daughter 10:06pm (Commercial- Food) Description was in the store and set her cellphone on a table Apple iPhone near the bathroom and then left it unattended for a few minutes while she went to the employee area behind the front register to see her father. A short time later, victim realized her phone was missing and employee brought up surveillance video to see what happened. The surveillance footage shows at 9:05pm suspect B/F (no further description) came in to use the bathroom and as she walked out, she grabbed victim’s cellphone from the table and then left the store without making any purchase. Victim tried to use the iPhone locater and it was giving a general location in Detroit near Outer Drive. Victim was advised to contact DPD if she could narrow down the location.

Status 07/13/2021 28000 Telegraph Rd. S - Stolen Victim placed her bike in the bike rack on the 8:43pm (Shopping Center) Description north side of the north entrance doors to Blue Schwinn Bike business in the 28000 Block of telegraph Rd. She entered the store at 7:50pm. When she exited the store at 8:20pm she discovered her bike was missing. She did not lock the bike up and contacted the businesses Loss Prevention. Security from the business pulled up surveillance video of the incident. On the video at 8:02pm a B/M riding a navy-blue bike rides by the bike rack and then turns around and pulls up to the rack. He places the navy-blue bike he was riding in the rack and grabbed victims Blue Schwinn and took off with it N/B through the parking lot. Suspect Description: B/M 5'8'' wearing a blue zip up hoodie with a grey hood, blue jeans, black shoes, black hat and white mask. The bike left behind had no name or serial number, it was rusty and had damage all over.

Block of Melrose. Sometime between 9:00am 07/13/2021 9:00am- 07/14/2021 9:00am someone cut off the catalytic converter from the work truck. No suspect information.

Since the suspect has moved out she keeps coming back and harassing them. R/P states there are multiple pending cases against the suspect. USPS has been notified. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

There was no metal license plate attached to the vehicle. The vehicle was occupied by two subjects. A K-9 Track was initiated but the suspects were not located.
