Trips sponsored by the Richland Center Community Senior Center.

Buses depart from Richland Center Community Building parking lot if Richland Center is a Pick Up location. All buses are Deluxe Motor Coaches (with bathrooms) that may or may not involve other stops and people.

Cancellation Policy : Trips involving prior ticket purchases are non-refundable as we have to pay for those tickets in advance. ONE DAY TOURS aboard a deluxe motor coach will receive a 100% refund if the cancellation is received 10 or more days prior to the trip, unless tickets for an event are non-refundable. Note – most Theater trips or those involving meals have non-refundable tickets. Cancellations 9 days or less, prior to a trip aboard a deluxe motor coach, will not receive a refund.

Casino Trips – If there are changes in locations, it is always to your advantage.

SIGN UP EARLY - Nothing cancels a trip faster than waiting until the last minute to sign up. Please call early to avoid disappointing trip cancellations. Especially those involving a Richland Center pick up.

UW BAND SPRING CONCERT Apr 11 Thurs $ 89 (Includes supper)

Don’t miss this opportunity!! 2019 is the last year that Mike Leckrone, UW’s animated Band Leader and a living icon, will be leader of the UW Marching Band and this annual spring concert. This extravaganza features over 300 talented and energetic young musicians, professional staging, lighting, sound and pyrotechnics performed for over 25,000 people each year. Located in Glencoe, IL, just 35 miles south Racine, the Chicago Botanic Garden is one of the world's greatest living museums and conservation science centers. In 2017, more than one million people visited the Garden's 27 gardens and four natural areas. Uniquely situated on 385 acres on and around nine islands, six miles of lake shoreline, the Garden also has a renowned Bonsai Collection. The Garden’s Lenhardt Library contains 150,000 volumes—including one of the nation's best collections of rare botanical books. We’ll enjoy a 2.6 mile guided tram tour around the Garden and a delightful included lunch in the Garden View Café. We’ll be at Garden from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM. We get several calls a year inquiring if we have a trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Finally, the answer is YES, WE DO! Lead by the husband and wife team of Richard and Joyce Johnson we’ll visit much more than these two Kentucky based Biblical attractions. Richard, the long-time pastor at the LaValle Advent Christian Church, and Joyce will enrich this trip with their musical talents and deep faith. Day 1 - travel to Indianapolis where we’ll visit the beautiful Beef-n-Boards Dinner Theater for a performance of Disney’s “Little Mermaid”. Day 2 – spend the day exploring the Ark Encounter. Day 3 – spend the day at the Creation Museum. Day 4 – visit Amish Acres in Nappanee, IN (horse-drawn wagon tour, house & farm tour, “Genesis & Exodus” documentary film, Threshers Dinner and Round Barn Theater performance of “Freaky Friday” – a heartfelt, comedic and emotional musical. STARVED ROCK OVERNIGHT Jun 25-26 Tue-Wed $320 ea Double / $390 Single / $310 ea Triple / $305 ea Quad Starved Rock State Park is a world apart from anything else in Illinois! You will know it the minute we enter the park as we travel through tree-covered sandstone bluffs to the remarkable Starved Rock Lodge. This beautiful park attracts over 2 million visitors annually to explore its scenic trails and 18 canyons, view its’ amazing waterfalls, dine in its historic Lodge and enjoy the panoramic views from tall bluffs. We’ll spend a night in the Lodge which was built in the 1930’s. The Lodge features a huge double-sided fireplace, rustic hand-cut knotty pine logs, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. If you choose to explore the Park’s beautiful scenery on peaceful hike there will be time to do so. Activities in and around the Park we have planned include a show by the Nashville Connection - country music at its finest! Dave and Daphne, a Nashville duo, perform a high- energy show with classic country music roots! Dave was Barbara Mandrell’s lead guitarist for over 10 years. Daphne was Southern Gospel Music’s Female Vocalist of the Year, having spent many years with the Bill Gaither Southern Gospel Music Show. She is best described as a cross between Shania Twain and Patsy Cline. Together, they bring country legend favorites like Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline and so many more, to create an afternoon of Nashville fun.
