Sean May Basketball Camp “The Champions” at Providence Day! Ages: Boys 7 – 15 Sean May, one of the most popular players in North Carolina Tar Heels’ history, brings his sensational camp back to Providence Day for an eighth year! Many of last year’s campers called this “the best basketball camp they had ever attended.” It is designed to help teach boys offensive and defensive techniques, strength and conditioning, and must–know basketball drills. The camp features guest speakers from current NBA players such as Marvin Williams , Brendan Haywood, and current and former UNC players. Sean will be at the camp all week instructing players and working with Charlotte coaches. In addition to skill stations, there will also be league games, a 3 on 3 tournament, and daily contests. The week concludes with playoffs and championship games. Sean stresses the importance of building life skills such as good sportsmanship, discipline, dedication and citizenship. These concepts are all part of the week’s curriculum. Campers will receive T–shirts and other prizes such as wristbands, backpacks, pictures and a lot of other basketball giveaways. Don’t miss this!
