The Montana Democratic Party is hiring top-tier, goal oriented and creative Organizers for its highly targeted national and state races. The positions are based in Montana and begin immediately. MDP will play a critical role in electing Democrats up and down the ticket including statewide U.S. Senate, Governor and U.S. House races. Organizers will report directly to a Regional Organizing Director.
This is an amazing opportunity not to be missed. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detailed oriented and a self-starter with proven ability to achieve goals and perform under pressure.
Duties include but are not limited to:
● Being the go-to contact on the ground in communities throughout the state ● Persuading voters to support Democratic candidates up and down the ticket in Montana this year ● Training volunteers to organize communities across the state and reach out to their friends and neighbors about supporting Democrats ● Making calls to recruit volunteers to join our team ● Knocking on doors to talk to voters about our candidates

Required Skills: ● Experience working or volunteering on political campaigns (preferred but not required) ● Great time management and organizational skills ● Ability to lead and instruct a team of volunteers ● Experience in setting and achieving measurable targets and coordinating between multiple stakeholders ● A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in on multiple projects at once
Compensation: C ompensation commensurate with experience. MDP offers a generous paid health insurance plan and paid travel compensation.
