We were soon rewarded by great roads with beautiful country scenery flying by, very few reasons to slow down or stop, lots of curves. And in spite of a surprising detour, a view of “The Lake” mysteriously appeared over the crest of the road ahead. And THEN what awaited us after we entered the State Park was THE best part of the drive with frequent curves underneath lush greenery that led to our picnic destination! The wind began to pick up, but before the skies darkened and a few raindrops hastened our departure, Denise became the Naturalist, pointing out a black snake that was watching from a safe distance.

FRIDAY, October 28th Welcome Reception—6:00-8:00 The Reception will be held at the host hotel, Quality Inn/Suites at 196 Patriots Point Rd in Mt. Pleasant. Hors d’oeuvres will be served. If you are pre-registered, you may pick up you Car Show material. If not, you may register at the reception.

SATURDAY, October 29th British Car Show—Let’s show off those British Beauties we’ve acquired and love to share. Guaranteed to have enthusiastic admirers! Enjoying all Brit beauties, not just “show” quality cars, but also “Diamonds in the Rough”.  Grounds open for registration at 9:00am.  Registration closes at 11:00am.  Judging from 11:00 until 1:30pm.
