Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Advises financial decisions to President, internal and external stakeholders by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedure set by company. • Protects assets by creating, monitoring, and administering internal controls. • Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans to General Managers and President for shareholder approval. • Monitors budget objectives; analyzes variances; recommends corrective actions • Prepares monthly financials, including but not limited to balance sheet, income statements (consolidated and detailed), statements of cash flows, trend analysis, break-even reporting; actual to budget variances with commentary • Maintains auditable recons for balance sheet line items • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Ensures all federal, state, and local legal requirements, licensing, permits are current and company adheres to requirements for compliance; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions. • Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential. • Ensures controls and internal processes are followed by business manager and office managers at each location: rebates and collections, daily work, deposits recorded correctly, sign shop, and MBO’s are billed and received • Leads on all audits (internal, external, CPA, IRS, State, Beer Tax etc.) • Ties out Quarterly and Annual Payroll 941, 940, W-2’s, 1099’s- coordinate with HR on ACA reporting as necessary • Reviews all journal entries that are imported and hand keyed to accounting software for accuracy and GL mapping accuracy. Make reclass entries and resolve discrepancies.

• Ensures all intercompany accounts are balanced at all times (operating and Beer transfers) • Point person on business insurance including but not limited to General Liability, Workers comp renewals, auto, and D&O. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel program, Accounting and Corporate Finance, Sage financial Software, Bachelor’s Degree

PREFERRED SKILLS

Financial Software (SAGE 100c), Route Accounting Software (Encompass); proficient in all Microsoft Suite Applications, CPA preferred; Developing Standards, Audit, Tracking Budget Expenses, Financial Skills, Analyzing Information, Developing Budgets, Intercompany and Allocations, Attention to Detail
