About one kilometre in we turn left and head across country towards Lock Garagarry. We cross some small rivers and head up onto the ridge, then take a right and head up Stumpa . This is the toughest part of the walk but also provides some of the best views so we will take our time. From here we can see Torc, The lakes of Killarney and The Paps From the top of Stumpa we will head down along the rim of the Horses Glen with more great views into the Glen and the three lakes. We will then head up to Mangerton with the Devils Punch Bowl below us. Again we should get some great views towards Torc and the Old Kenmare Road. From here we head down Mangerton to the Cars. This is a lovely walk. Gaiters and walking sticks would be advised .
