Directions to Danby Lodge The address of the property is Danby Lodge, Yorkley, Gloucestershire, GL15 4SL. Look this up on Google Maps and it will show you exactly where the house is. When you arrive at the gates outside the house, pull right up in front of them and they will open automatically. Coming from Gloucester Follow the A48 south from Gloucester for about 20 minutes, passing through Westbury on Severn and Newnham. Eventually you will reach Blakeney. After passing through Blakeney, you will sweep round a left hand bend, and start to travel up a hill. You will pass a white pub called "The Cock Inn" on your right. At the top of this hill, you will see a right hand turning off the A48 which is signposted Viney Hill. Take this right hand turning, then follow the directions below (under And then…) Coming from London Take the M4 west out of London. Shortly after passing the turnoff for Bristol, you will begin to see signs for the M48 (signposted Chepstow and the Forest of Dean I think). Take the exit for the M48 towards Chepstow Cross the Severn Bridge (there is a toll), entering Wales. Take the first exit after crossing the Severn Bridge (Signposted Chepstow) Arrive at a roundabout over the Motorway. Take the third exit (Chepstow again), effectively a right hand turn. Travel about 1/2 mile, arriving at another roundabout. Take the third exit again (signposted Chepstow), again a right hand turn. Travel through Chepstow on the A48, returning back into England. Remain on the A48 for around 20 minutes; eventually you will see signs for Lydney and reach a roundabout. Take a right hand turn (second exit) at the roundabout, remaining on the A48 and bypassing Lydney. Travel down this road for around two miles. After travelling down a slight dip, round a corner and up a rise, you will see a left hand turning signposted Viney Hill. Take this left hand turning. Coming from Bristol Airport Leave the Airport and travel on the A38 towards Bristol/M5 North Go past Bristol City Football ground and connect with the A4 direction M5 Join the M5 heading north (probably signposted The Midlands, Bristol, London) Travel north for around 15km until you reach exit 15, signposted South Wales, London. Take this exit and keep left following signs for South Wales, Newport, Cardiff. This will take you onto the M4 for a short distance. Keep left, watching out for signs for the M48 towards Chepstow (I think this is exit 21, may be signposted Chepstow, Services) Take the exit onto the M48 and proceed along this motorway for around 8Km Cross the Severn Bridge (there is a toll), entering Wales. And then … Travel up this road for about a mile, passing through Viney Hill and into Yorkley. After passing the sign for the village of Yorkley, you will travel through a left hand bend and up a hill. At the top of this hill turn right into Slade road Take the first left off Slade road (Tower Road) Turn left again as the road begins to bend around to the right After about 20 metres, the tarmac ends and you will find yourself on a gravel road. Travel down this road about a mile, passing a "Forestry Commission, no unauthorised access" sign and pole barrier (normally open). Do not take the left hand turning. Eventually, at the end, you will reach Danby Lodge. When you get to the gates, pull right up to them and they will open automatically .
