This genus is distinguished from other genera belonging to Rubiaceae by several morphological characteristics including the leaves in whorls of 2–8, 3 or 4-lobed corollas, rudimentary corolla tubes, and dry mericarps (Yamazaki 1993, Ehrendorfer et al. 2014, Elkordy & Schanzer 2015). • Here Is a Quick Explanation of How the Seed Exchange Works
RULES OF THE SEED EXCHANGE The rules of the seed exchange have been revised in 2014, in order to make it run more smoothly, be more cost-effective (it makes a loss, so is a cost to the Society) and offer a better service. Please ensure that you READ these new rules and follow them: they are available to all so you will be deemed to know about them! INTRODUCTION Please remember that the seed exchange is basically a free service provided by the members for the members (you only pay a small charge to cover postage, stationery etc), and all work is done by volunteers. These rules are designed to make it possible to continue offering the service on the present basis; we simply do not have enough time to deal with either donations or orders which take up more time than they ought, hence the various inducements and sanctions we offer or impose. Here is a quick explanation of how the seed exchange works. Donors collect seed in their gardens as it ripens, name and package it and send it in to me before a closing date published in the magazine each year. I put all seed of the same variety into one large envelope (checking that it's what it says it is and that the name is correct as I go along), and when all the seed is in I make a list of what I have and number the envelopes to match the list. The list then goes off to press and the seeds go to the Cheshire Group to be packeted into the small individual packets in which they are sent out - over a thousand varieties, each into an average of twenty packets, and all numbered.

Upon our arrival, we soon completed passport control and baggage reclaim and made our way out to the arrivals area, before making our way to the bus stop for the bus to the car-rental area to collect the minibuses. With luggage loaded, we boarded the vehicles for the journey to the Vercors region. We drove south-westwards on the A43 and A48 motorways, stopping to buy water at Aire L’Isle d’Abeau service area, before continuing south. We left the motorway at Voreppe, on the outskirts of Grenoble, and made our way, via Sessenage, up onto the Vercors Plateau to our destination, the Hotel Le Val Fleuri at Lans en Vercors. Along the way, we recorded Rook and Starling, neither of which, as yet, occur on the plateau, as well as Grey Heron. At the hotel, our base for the rest of the tour, we were met by our host, Eliane Bonnard.

UNIVERZA V LJUBLJANI FAKULTETA ZA DRUŽBENE VEDE Petra Tušar PODNEBNE SPREMEMBE IN NACIONALNA VARNOST Diplomsko delo Ljubljana 2007 UNIVERZA V LJUBLJANI FAKULTETA ZA DRUŽBENE VEDE Petra Tušar Mentor: red. prof. dr. Marjan Malešič PODNEBNE SPREMEMBE IN NACIONALNA VARNOST Diplomsko delo Ljubljana 2007 Podnebne spremembe in nacionalna varnost Podnebne spremembe predstavljajo vse bolj resno grožnjo svetu. S tem, kako bo v prihodnosti, se ukvarjajo mnoge študije, vendar pa so dejanske napovedi nemogoče. Podnebne spremembe so vse bolj pogosto povezane z nacionalno varnostjo držav. Diplomsko delo v prvem delu obravnava podnebne spremembe skozi zgodovino in okoljske probleme v svetu in Sloveniji. Climate change and national security The threat to the world stability posed by climate change is becoming increasingly more severe. Numerous studies have come up with possible future scenarios.
