• Telstra recommends 4G & 3G enabled devices or 4G only devices (with no 3G fallback). • For 3G devices, Telstra strongly recommends HSPA+ capable devices as these devices offer the best experience (R99 only capable devices are not recommended). • Telstra has strong interest in lower LTE category devices CAT1/0/M for M2M/IoT industry, and is currently investigating rolling out support for those devices. • All module and devices certified need to support remote firmware upgrade capability. • Regarding radio band support, Telstra’s major 4G bands are band 3, 7 & 28, and major 3G bands are band 5 & 1.
