Access to the M8 is also less than 1 mile Local Shops Church away. Community Church Centre The area is characterised by predominantly low scale, Primary School Nursery low density housing of late Victorian inter-war and post war periods as well as many more recently residential developments. During the design process the nature, typology and scale of the evolving external spaces were carefully examined and considered and a landscape design prepared to meet these factors. OOBE also strive to produce designs that respond to principles that have been developed from government guidance, the Localism Act and National Planning Policy Framework to ensure our neighbourhood designs are the following; • Functional • Support a mix of uses • Adaptable and resilient • Have a distinctive character • Are attractive • Encourage ease of movement 64 65.
