6.1 LANDSCAPE DESIGN STRATEGY

Landscape Strategy and objectives The landscape design OOBE have proposed responds to the site opportunities and constraints that have been identified by the design team, the design brief, the form and functions of the development and the requirements of the residents and users that will populate the development. During the design process the nature, typology and scale of the evolving external spaces were carefully examined and considered and a landscape design prepared to meet these factors. OOBE also strive to produce designs that respond to principles that have been developed from government guidance, the Localism Act and National Planning Policy Framework to ensure our neighbourhood designs are the following;

• Functional • Support a mix of uses • Adaptable and resilient • Have a distinctive character • Are attractive • Encourage ease of movement
