AGC-Brochure-2017.Pdf TABLE OF CONTENTS _________________________________________________ AGC FIRM OVERVIEW AGC COMPANY SERVICES AGC EXECUTIVE TEAM AGC PROJECT EXPERIENCE AGC PROJECT STAFFING FIRM OVERVIEW FIRM OVERVIEW Austin General Contracting, Inc. has been an integral part of building throughout the Nevada market since 2004. Strong client relationships have been the foun- dation of the company, helping to make it one of the premier general contracting firms the Las Vegas building market. Since 2004, our Team has had an un- yielding focus on how to improve the communication and level of performance to meet the needs and enhance the project experience for our Clients. The com- pany has earned a reputation of being a relationship based general contractor with a Founder that takes a hands on approach and remains accessible to our Clients long after the project is complete. Our staff ranges from 180 to 500 professionals that bring a solid background of capabilities from in-house Design-Building, Construction Management, and A B Unlimited General Building Contracting. Austin General Contracting’s portfolio covers range of Hospitality, Gaming, Office, Hotel, Restaurants, Night Clubs, Theaters, Casino expansions, Retail, Signature and Flagship concept projects. AGC holds five licenses which gives us the unique ability in our market to be one of the very few self-performing General Contractors for; demolition, con- crete, framing, carpentry, drywall and wall finishes. The company is very di- verse in our ability to be a partner to our Client, working silently throughout the night for small improvements to helping the Client build large scale construction projects from managing the design process to opening for the public. The company’s success hinges on some very important elements: team mem- bers with extensive historical knowledge of construction methods, industry tech- niques, and continued development of innovative technologies. AGC is a com- pany known for “getting things done”. We emphasize value and creativity throughout the design process, while following high standards of performance for our construction projects. Austin General Contracting, Inc. is the parent company to Austin Millwork and Cabinetry, Inc. which has a diverse portfolio featuring; five star resort hotel suites, casino gaming areas, V.I.P. Bars, exclusive restaurants, Nightclubs and high end retail spaces. Our millwork team is staffed with craftsmen that special- ize in new creation, restoration, renovation and preservation to meet and hope- fully exceed the Client’s expectations. AUSTIN GENERAL CONTRACTING, INC. | AUSTIN MILLWORK & CABINETRY | AZTEC DOOR & HARDWARE WWW.AUSTINGENERALCONTRACTINGNEVADA.COM COMPANY SERVICES COMPANY SERVICES GENERAL CONTRACTING For over ten years, AGC has been providing our clients with general contracting services. Our cli- ents choose us because we staff every project with the right people to ensure the best results. For every job, our project team works in collaboration with the owner, architect, subcontractors and engineers. AGC provides a full range of General Contracting services from early planning and de- sign stages through construction, project completion, and closeout. Our team of professionals utiliz- es the latest construction methods to ensure our projects stay on schedule and within or below budget. PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES AGC offers high quality Preconstruction Services in which our methods have been shaped with a superior level of detail to ensure efficiency, accuracy and thoroughness. Maintaining accurate and effective preconstruction services during every job is vital to AGC and our success. To ensure this level of skill in all preconstruction efforts, AGC makes sure that team members and personnel are sufficiently skilled and trained for each job. As a service we provide thorough cost estimation, effi- cient scheduling and detailed value engineering. We utilize our vast resources as a source of knowledge for every new project. DESIGN BUILD CONSTRUCTION One of the services AGC offers our clients is a Design-Build delivery system. This delivery system eliminates the needless back-and-forth that happens between many designers and builders. This combined with our relationship with County, City and Fire officials allows AGC to streamline pro- cesses that overlap the design and construction phases of a project, therefore significantly reducing the project delivery time. This approach encourages early collaboration between these two critical phases of your project by serving as a single point of contact, saving time, and money. As part of the Design Build service AGC provides plan development, plan review, site analysis, value engi- neering and competitive market cost analysis. CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT At Austin General Contracting we take pride in our construction management approach and contrib- ute our continued success to maintaining open and continuous communication with each client. The AGC team puts strong emphasis on integrating the design and construction phases of each project which allows for prompt and informed decisions to be made by all parties involved. AGC performs a variety of services as Construction Manager, and acts as a coordinator to ensure that all scheduled activities and procurement of materials are being completed in a timely manner. For each project we manage, AGC engages in a “team” approach with the owner and the architect to encourage con- stant communication and collaboration between all parties involved. We are consistently able to deliver projects within a condensed timeframe, typically with a cost savings to the Owner, without compromising our high-quality service. SELF PERFORMANCE In addition to our (B) unlimited General Construction license, AGC holds five additional licenses; A- 13 Demolition, C-4 Painting, C-5 Concrete and C-25 Equipment. This allows AGC to self perform almost any trade our clients may need in the form of demolition, concrete, framing, carpentry, dry- wall and wall finishes. Not only do we self perform our own work but our Team of carpenters have performed this work for other General Contractors as well. AGC is the parent company to Austin Millwork and Cabinetry and AZTEC Door and Hardware. AMC as a Subcontractor provides full service millwork fabrication and installation and AZTEC Door and Hardware provides full service door, door hardware and installation. Both AMC and Aztec have successfully furnished and installed Millwork and Doors for AGC as a General Contractor but also for other General Contractors throughout the Las Vegas Valley. • Dining Las Vegas Style
DINING — RESTAURANTS AND CHEFS On the Strip and off, the best Las Vegas restaurants are inspiring food-loving tourists to make reservations—and mark their calendars. Within a decade, Las Vegas has redefined the culinary and wine experience by offering the most comprehensive collection of celebrity chefs, world- class restaurants and Master Sommeliers (12) than any other destination in the world. Southern Nevada is home to more than 5,000 general restaurants and 375 buffets. These numbers are just a small part of the overall food & beverage culture in the region and do not account for the thousands of snack bars, take-out venues and drinking establishments, which also populate the area. Bon Appétit magazine, a leading authority in the culinary world, cemented Las Vegas’ place among U.S. dining capitals by declaring the destination as one of the nation’s top five restaurant cities. In fact, the publication has partnered with Las Vegas and the destination’s resorts, to host an annual epicurean event called Vegas Uncork’d. The four-day event in the spring provides an intimate connection with legendary chefs, along with grand tastings of their delectable creations. The festival was also recently named the #1 food festival in the country by readers of USA Today and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2016. For one week each year, more than 100 of Las Vegas’ fine dining establishments participate in the city’s annual Restaurant Week. Working to end hunger in southern Nevada, a portion of all Restaurant Week sales benefit Three Square Food Bank. Participating restaurants offer prix-fixe menus from three tiered price points.
