Firm Overview Company Services Executive Team Project Experience CONTENTS ________________________________________ FIRM OVERVIEW COMPANY SERVICES EXECUTIVE TEAM PROJECT EXPERIENCE PROJECT STAFFING Nevada Contractors License #59383 FIRM OVERVIEW FIRM OVERVIEW Austin General Contracting, Inc. has been an integral part of building throughout the Nevada market since 2004. Strong client relationships have been the foundation of the company, helping to make it one of the premier general contracting firms the Las Vegas building market. Since 2004, our team has had an unyielding focus on how to improve the communication and level of performance to meet the needs and enhance the project experience for our clients. The company has earned a reputation of being a relationship- based general contractor with a founder that takes a hands on approach and remains accessible to our clients long after the project is complete. Our staff ranges from 180 to 500 professionals that bring a solid background of capabilities from in-house design-build, construction management, and A B unlimited general building contracting. AGC’s portfolio covers the range of hospitality, gaming, office, hotel, restaurants, nightclubs, theaters, casino expansions, retail, signature and flagship concept projects. AGC holds five separate contractors licenses which gives us the unique ability to be one of the very few self-performing general contractors for demolition, concrete, framing, carpentry, drywall and wall finishes. AGC is very unique in our ability to be a partner to our client, working silently throughout the night for small improvements to helping the client build large scale construction projects from managing the design process all the way through to opening for the public. The company’s success hinges on some very important elements: team members with extensive historical knowledge of construction methods, industry techniques, and continued development of innovative technologies. AGC is a company known for “getting things done” We emphasize value and creativity throughout the design process, while following high standards of performance for our construction projects. In addition, Austin General Contracting, Inc. is a sister company to Austin Millwork and Cabinetry, Inc. which has a diverse portfolio featuring; five star resort hotel suites, casino gaming areas, V.I.P. bars, exclusive restaurants, nightclubs and high-end retail spaces. Our millwork team is staffed with craftsmen that specialize in new creation, restoration, renovation and preservation to meet and aim to exceed the Client’s expectations. AUSTIN GENERAL CONTRACTING, INC. | AUSTIN MILLWORK & CABINETRY | AZTEC DOOR & HARDWARE COMPANY SERVICES COMPANY SERVICES GENERAL CONTRACTING For more than ten years, AGC has been providing our clients with general contracting services. Our cli- ents choose us because we staff every project with the right people to ensure the best results. For every job, our project team works in collaboration with the owner, architect, subcontractors and engineers. AGC provides a full range of general contracting services from early planning and design stages through con- struction, project completion, and closeout. Our team of professionals utilizes the latest construction meth- ods to ensure our projects stay on schedule and within or below budget. PRECONSTRUCTION SERVICES AGC offers high quality preconstruction services in which our methods have been shaped with a superior level of detail to ensure efficiency, accuracy and thoroughness. Maintaining accurate and effective pre- construction services during every job is vital to AGC and our success. To ensure this level of skill in all preconstruction efforts, AGC makes sure that team members and personnel are sufficiently skilled and trained for each job. As a service, we provide thorough cost estimation, efficient scheduling and detailed value engineering. We utilize our vast resources as a source of knowledge for every new project. DESIGN BUILD CONSTRUCTION One of the services AGC offers our clients is a Design-Build delivery system. This delivery system eliminates the needless back-and-forth that happens between many designers and builders. This service combined with our relationship with County, City and Fire officials allows AGC to streamline processes that overlap the design and construction phases of a project, thereby significantly reducing the project delivery time. This approach encourages early collaboration between these two critical phases of your project by serving as a single point of contact, saving time, and money. As part of the Design Build service AGC provides plan development, plan review, site analysis, value engineering and competitive market cost analysis. CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT We take pride in our construction management approach and attribute our continued success to maintaining open and continuous communication with each client. The AGC team puts strong emphasis on integrating the design and construction phases of each project which allows for prompt and informed decisions to be made by all parties involved. AGC performs a variety of services as a Construction Manager, and acts as a coordinator to ensure that all scheduled activities and procurement of materials are being completed in a timely manner. For each project we manage, AGC engages in a “team” approach with the owner and the architect to encourage constant communication and collaboration between all parties involved. We are consistently able to deliver projects within a condensed timeframe, typically with a cost savings to the Owner, without compromising our high-quality service. SELF PERFORMANCE In addition to our (B) unlimited general construction license, AGC holds five additional licenses; A-13 Demolition, C-4 Painting, C-5 Concrete and C-25 Equipment. This allows AGC to self perform almost any trade our clients may need in the form of demolition, concrete, framing, carpentry, drywall and wall finishes. Not only do we self perform our own work but our team of carpenters have performed this work for other general contractors as well. AGC is the sister company to Austin Millwork & Cabinetry and Aztec Door & Hardware. AMC as a com- mercial full service millwork fabrication and installation and Aztec Door & Hardware provides full service door, door hardware and installation. Both AMC and Aztec have successfully furnished and installed millwork and doors for AGC as a general contractor but also for other general contractors throughout the Las Vegas Valley. He has taken this company under his strong leadership, integrity and hard work to be one of the most respected in Nevada. Mike knew from his education in the trades that client relationships are built on trust and being able to deliver quality projects. His commitment to quality is what drove AGC to be a self-performing commercial General Contractor, licensed in the following trades; demolition, concrete, framing, drywall, plaster, painting. • Some Nevada Casinos Still Closed, Some May Never Reopen by Dylan Svoboda Las Vegas Review-Journal June 15, 2021 - 7:13 Pm
Some Nevada casinos still closed, some may never reopen By Dylan Svoboda Las Vegas Review-Journal June 15, 2021 - 7:13 pm Despite the state’s full reopening on June 1, several Nevada casinos remain closed. Some won’t reopen for at least another year. Others have closed their doors for good. As of June 1, Gov. Steve Sisolak gave Nevada the green light to remove capacity limits and social distancing requirements. Las Vegas casinos had been operating under capacity restrictions since reopening last summer. But even as masks come off, doctors administer hundreds more vaccines a day and tourists come from across the world, some gaming houses are still getting their bearings. Off the Strip, Boyd Gaming Corp.’s Main Street Station and Eastside Cannery remain shuttered. Both properties have been closed since March 2020. Last year, Boyd Gaming executives said that Main Street Station would open sometime this year. Spokesman David Strow said the company could not comment on recent business trends as it was nearing next month’s quarterly earnings report. In March, Strow told the Review-Journal that the reopenings will depend on business volumes. During an earnings call in April, CEO Keith Smith said that “as COVID vaccinations continue to roll out and restrictions lift, (the company) expect(s) visitation among our rated destination customers to improve.” Others will stay closed for another six months to a year, possibly more. This month, Station Casinos’ Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho casinos placed their “non-restricted gaming, non-restricted gaming liquor and full liquor off- sale business licenses” on hold for the second year in a row — through June 4, 2022 — citing the state’s “uncertain economic conditions.” The licenses can be placed on hold for a maximum of two consecutive years.
