Wagner (United States National Herbarium). Voucher Polypodiaceae (Polypodies) specimens have been collected for many difficult identifications. Approximately 160 __ Polypodium virginianum Rock Polypody species (indicated by †) are documented by specimens donated to the Royal Ontario Museum / University of Toronto herbarium (TRT); numerous additional species are GYMNOSPERMS represented in the Koffler Scientific Reserve on-site herbarium. The phylogenetic classification of ferns and allies folloWs the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group (PPG I 2016: PINALES Pines and Spruces Journal of Systematics and Evolution 54, 563-603), classification for gymnosperms is based on Christenhusz et al. 2011 (Phytotaxa 19, 55-70), and classification for Pinaceae (Pines) angiosperms follows the Angiosperm Phylogeny IV system (APG IV 2016: Botanical __ Larix laricina TaMarack Journal of the Linnean Society 181, 1-20).
