DIALYSIS CENTER –UPDATES

The White Eagle Dialysis Center project continues to progress. The exterior walls of the dialysis clinic are up. The roof deck has been laid. The Exterior of the building will feature integrated tee- pee shapes with contrasting colors on both the north and south sides. The north side of the building will feature large insulated windows to provide natural light. The Ponca Business Committee has made the choice for a preference of exterior colors. The inte- rior colors and designs have been presented to the PBC. The Council has opted for a color scheme to promote a spa-like feel for the patient areas. Completion of the building is currently slotted for the second week of October. After completion of construction there will be a few weeks of water sampling, furnishings and other arrangements to finish before treatments begin. DIRECTORS MEETING

Program Director Meetings The Ponca Tribe Grants/Compliance Office has introduced monthly Program Directors Meetings that began in April of 2016. These meetings are held to keep Program Directors, the Grants Office and the Ponca Tribal Business Committee in- formed on the various activities being performed by each pro- gram. The meetings are attended by all program directors (or their representatives) as well as Business Committee members. These meetings provide insight as well as information the pro- grams can share and become more aware of what is being pro- vided in the different service areas of our tribal program net- work. It is also provides a venue for programs to formulate ide- as and strategies to work more cohesively with each other to provide better services for the tribal community. BIA Officer J. Talamasey will be conducting this presentation to answer these questions and more. This presentation is for anyone in the community that wishes to attend.

BIA Presentation WHEN: Tuesday July 26, 2016 @ 1:00PM HOME BURGLARIES WHERE: SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER And

SAFEGUARDING YOUR PROPERTY

WHITE EAGLE COMMUNITY: As many of you know there has been a rise in burglaries in our community. Having your home or vehicle burglarized can affect you financially. It can also affect you in other ways you may not expect. When you believe your home and community are safe and then the event of a burglary takes place, it can take away your sense of security.

We are providing this presentation to the community in order to give you the education and tools to safe- guard your home, vehicles and other property. This will not necessarily always stop a burglary, but you will know that with these tools that you will be less likely to become a victim of this crime.

If you are ready to learn how to take steps to make yourself less vulnerable to a burglary, please join us on July 26, 2016. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
