A ‘virtual’ parish council meeting was held on 28th May. Malcolm Bird was co-opted and welcomed as a new member of the Parish council. Country & District Council Reports – reported on ‘virtual’ meetings, where both Councils were co-ordinating COVID-19 hubs, to help local businesses and residents in the area. The recycling centres are now open, and full bin collections are up and running. The Greater Cambridge Plan has issued its first report after receiving over 6000 comments online. You can receive updates via email at www.greatercambridgeplanning.org. Finance – the Annual Audit 2019/2020, and Annual Return 2019/2020 have been lodged. An application has been made to the LHI 2021/22 – for 40mph buffer zones on entering the village.
