BIOGRAPHY

While Minneapolis-based drummer Jessica Anderson has worked with many Twin Cities - centric performing acts for years, she currently focuses on her involvement with astounding ‘ Hard Rock Rising’ Global Battle of The Bands champions Enemy Planes and legendary drag star and winner of ‘RuPauls Drag Race’ season 1 Bebe Zahara Benet.

Having recorded with musicians such as Norwegian X-Factor Finalist, Patrick Jorgensen, internationally renowned Phoenix-based Fender artist Nik West, and Georgia-born YouTube drumming icon Casey Cooper, Jessica continually works with artists from around the world.

As a New Media Strategist, she has built herself an online presence worth noticing with over 8,000 subscribers on YouTube and a professional following on all other new media platforms. Despite her own channels’ successes, Jessica has also been featured on other YouTube channels. Featured in a collaborative drum video with the iconic Casey Cooper, Jessica paired up with Casey to create a video that now has nearly half a million views! In the spring of 2015, Jessica entered the online Drum! Magazine sponsored international drumming competition, 'Hit Like a Girl,’ and was picked as a Top 20 Finalist worldwide.

In the spring of 2016, Jessica graduated from one of the most internationally praised contemporary music schools in the nation, McNally Smith College of Music. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance, a minor in Music Production and a minor in Music Business, Jessica has developed skills in many different facets of the music industry by maintaining an extremely well rounded understanding of music performance, marketing, recording techniques, music production, video production and photography.

In the future, Jessica aspires to continue her growth as a musician, performer, and educator, traveling the world doing freelance work and cultivating her online presence.

Jessica maintains a private music studio in Minneapolis, MN where she gives private drum lessons specializing in the expansion of stylistic pallets, technique, applied theory and

rudimental understanding.

the title during the final rounds of competition in Barcelona, Spain), Jessica will be touring North America in the spring of 2016 for the release of their debut album,
