Otherwise I appreciate the progress and stability of the app. Keep moving forward! I was a MEW customer and had 2k stolen 3 months ago and always checked the URL entry in etc... I still have 2k stolen from right under my guard. Searched around on the fly to find reliability and some level of fiduciary responsibility. The trust came to the surface and I moved the remainder of my ether coins immediately to trust my wallet and wish I had done it before! Trust changes the rules of the game. If in doubt, move a small ether make up trust and and ask a question for support. A knowledgeable and appropriate answer will amaze you. And I'm a regular 9-5 guy, but grateful for this app!! If it's been 3 months and now my app keeps freezing when turning it since the update ... I tried to contact them and they didn't help at all. I can't access my coins I have 3 views on it and it just keeps crashing every time I click on it. I didn't ask for an update!! I've never sanctioned it. Thanks now I feel like my coins are stolen.     A Behavioral Economics Approach to Regulating Initial Coin Offerings NATHAN J. SHERMAN* INTRODUCTION Initial coin offerings (ICOs) are an outgrowth of the cryptocurrency space in which companies raise capital by issuing their own cryptocurrency coin to investors. Although ICOs are an innovative method of raising capital, the growth of the ICO market is troubling considering no investor protection regulations govern the ICO process. Investors pour large amounts of money into these offerings, which are issued by companies that typically have no history of producing a product or revenue, and the prices of coins issued in ICOs are only rising because other investors also funnel money into them.1 This pattern is markedly similar to that of a speculative bubble. A speculative bubble occurs when there are “‘unsustainable increases’ in asset prices caused by investors trading on a pattern of price increases rather than information on fundamental values.”2 In a bubble, “smart money”—informed investors—bid up prices in anticipation of “noise traders” entering the market.3 The noise traders then enter the market due to the psychological biases they encounter in making their investment decisions.4 Eventually, the smart money investors sell their holdings and the bubble bursts. 5 Thus, regulators should create a framework that adequately protects investors in ICOs. The behavioral economics theory of bounded rationality provides insights for building this regulatory framework. Bounded rationality implies that humans make suboptimal choices.6 By understanding the psychological biases that influence investors’ choices, regulators will be able to help investors adopt habits that reduce the harmful effects of speculative bubbles.

Our mission is to build a better understanding of these technologies and to promote a regulatory climate that preserves the freedom to innovate using open blockchain technologies. We do this by producing and publishing policy research from respected academics and experts, educating policymakers and the media about blockchain technology, and by engaging in advocacy for sound public policy. Our comment letter will primarily describe various cryptocurrency activities that are within the core or incidental activities that banks should be able to perform (Question Four of the Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking—ANPR)1. After these activities are characterized and their benefits to bank customers are described, we will offer suggestions relating to legal standards for electronic operations at National Banks that can clarify the bank-permissibility of these activities (Questions One through Three of the ANPR)2. As the OCC has already recognized in the recent Interpretive Letter dated July 22, 2020,3 cryptocurrency technology is an important innovation in financial technology, and safekeeping of cryptocurrency is and ought to be a core banking activity.4 We would argue, one step further, that cryptocurrency and public blockchain networks are a fundamental evolution in money for both private currencies (e.g. Bitcoin) and potential future public currencies (e.g. central bank ​ ​ ​ ​ digital currency).
