Flickr HEIDELBERG, Germany - U.S. Army Europe commanding Lt. Gen. Donald M. Campbell Jr. visited with Polish Land Forces commander Lt. Gen. Zbigniew Glowienka YouTube and Polish forces in Warsaw before observing training conducted at exercise Bagram XIII, Feb 28.

For the past decade the United States and Poland have enjoyed a strong and vibrant military partnership that is rooted in shared commitment to regional and global security, Campbell said during the visit. The bilateral relationship between our countries is stronger than ever and U.S. Army Europe remains firmly committed to strengthening this partnership in the years to come, he added. Bagram XIII is a U.S. Army Europe-supported biannual exercise to certify members of the Polish Land Forces and their Illinois National Guard counterparts for their mission in support of NATO's International Security Assistance Forces in Afghanistan.
