WBO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITTEE RESOLUTION The present ruling stems from an official request filed by Hatanaka Boxing Gym of Nagoya, Japan, on behalf of WBO Super Champion Mr. Kosei Tanaka on February 5th 2020, seeking installment at the number one (1) position in the WBO World Jr. Bantamweight Ratings and consequently, be designated Mandatory Challenger in the aforementioned division in light of the rights and privileges afforded under his WBO Super Champion status. This Committee having considered Mr. Tanaka’s request, having reviewed petitioner’s rights and privileges per the WBO’s Super Champion provision, its applicability, and enforcement, and being fully advised in the premises; it is hereby determined as follows: WHEREAS, on Sunday, November 10th 2013, Mr. Tanaka debuted professionally in the Mini-Flyweight Weight division (105 lbs) winning via unanimous decision (UD) against Mr. Oscar Raknafa; bout held at the International Conference Hall, Nagoya, Aichi, Japan; and, WHEREAS, Thursday, October 30th 2014, in just his third (3) professional bout, Mr. Tanaka won the Mini-Flyweight Weight Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) Championship Title against Mr. Ryuji Hara, by way of Technical Knockout (TKO) in round ten (10); bout held at the Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan; and, WHEREAS, on Saturday, May 30th 2015, Mr. Kosei Tanaka won the Vacant WBO Mini- Flyweight Weight World Championship Title defeating Mr. Julian Yedras via unanimous decision (UD); bout held at the Park Arena, Komaki, Aichi, Japan. In just five (5) professional bouts, Mr. Tanaka won his first WBO World Championship Title; and WHEREAS, on Thursday, December 31st 2015, Mr. Tanaka successfully defended his WBO Mini-Flyweight Weight Championship Title against former WBO Oriental, WBO Asia Pacific, and WBO World Mini-Flyweight Weight Champion, Mr. -
