Sarah’s Story Our Partners

Sarah was the first Indigenous student to complete Year 12 at Loreto Normanhurst in 2012. Sarah grew up in Broome, but she also has close family ties in and enjoys travelling between the two worlds of buzzing city life and the serenity of the Kimberley. Throughout the three years she studied at Loreto as one of seven Indigenous students, Sarah took every opportunity with glowing enthusiasm and worked hard to achieve her goals. Sarah is currently studying towards a university degree in Education and aims to become a primary school teacher.
