Kaahanui, a rising senior at McClintock High School currently sits at No. 80 in the Polo Golf Rankings. He is serving as this year’s Player Representative on the AJGA Board of Directors. A Phoenix Phenom Zachary Wright of Phoenix, has had success in his hometown AJGA tournaments. In April, Wright won the Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic hosted by Longbow Golf Club. Wright comes off a T30 showing at the Thunderbird International Junior where he competed with some of the world’s best junior golfers. This will be his third appearance at the PING Phoenix Junior coming off of a seventh-place showing at the 2010 event. History in the making In all, six past champions have gone on to earn Rolex Junior Player of the Year accolades in the same year, while all 40 champions have been named to a Rolex Junior All-America team.
