Swedish Queer Film Festivals as Micro-Activism. Uppsala Studies in Media and Communication 16. 189 pp. Uppsala: Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis. ISBN 978-91-513-1145-6. This research is based on ethnographic fieldwork conducted at Malmö Queer Film Festival and Cinema Queer Film Festival in Stockholm, between 2017-2019. It explores the relevance of queer film festivals in the lives of LGBTQIA+ persons living in Sweden, and reveals that these festivals are not simply cultural events where films about gender and sexuality are screened, but places through which the political lives of LGBTQIA+ persons become intelligible. The queer film festivals perform highly contextualized and diverse sets of practices to shape the LGBTQIA+ discourse in their particular settings. This thesis focuses on salient features of this engagement: how the queer film festivals define and articulate “queer”, their engagement with space to curate “queerness”, the role of failure and contingency in shaping the queer film festivals as sites of democratic contestations, the performance of inclusivity in the queer film festival organization, and the significance of these events in the lives of the people who work or volunteer at these festivals.

As the forerunner of an unbroken series of 2% square SlR cameras, it incorporated many design features still not found on competitive equipment after more than 16 years. The Deluxe is easily recognized by the following key features: 1. Focusing mount integral part of body. 2. No advance crank on right side. 3. Focusing scale on upper part of advance/focus knob. 4. Speed dial on outside face of advance/focus knob. 5. Self-timer scale on left side of body. 6. Double exposure dial on right side of body. 7. 3 stud male bayonet fitting on bottom of camera body. 8. Focus lock lever on right front of body. The Deluxe has double exposure capability, shutter speeds to 1/1250th second, a 2 - 10 second self-timer which also allowed timed long expo­ sures of 2 - 10 seconds and a locking lever to lock the camera's focusing mount at any desired point. All small bayonet mount Auto-Nikkor and Zenzanon lenses fit the De luxe, as well as all five "5" series prisms and hoods. Durch die unsachgemäße Entsorgung FCKW-haltiger Kühlschränke entweichen jährlich Treibhausgase, die die Atmosphäre so stark belasten wie eine Million Tonnen Kohlendioxid. Als Folge wird der Klima- wandel angeheizt und die Ozonschicht zerstört. Grund für das Entweichen großer Mengen FCKW aus alten Kühlgeräten sind mangelhafte Entsorgungspraktiken durch Recycler. Nach dem Stand der Technik müssten aus alten FCKW-haltigen Kühlgeräten mindestens 90 Prozent der enthaltenen Treibhausgase entnommen werden. Tatsächlich sind es in deutschen Recyclinganlagen aber nur 63 Prozent. Der Rest entweicht in die Umwelt. Hierfür tragen die Kühlgerätehersteller die Verantwortung, denn sie sind gesetzlich zur Entsorgung zurückgegebener Geräte verpflichtet. Die beauftragten Recycler arbeiten in Deutschland deshalb schlecht, weil die Hersteller das zulassen. Wie viel jeder der fünf großen Hersteller zur Klimaerwärmung beiträgt, hat die DUH anhand ihres geschätzten Marktanteils ermittelt.
