We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives shall not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site and, if needed, additional disciplinary action.” 3 Preface NCAA Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey Rules Committee Preface The NCAA Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey Rules have been designated as either administrative rules or conduct rules. Typically, administrative rules are those dealing with preparation for the competition. The conduct rules are those that have to do directly with the competition. Rules may not be altered, unless flexibility is indicated in a specific rule. NCAA member institutions are required to conduct their intercollegiate contests according to these rules. The administrative rules included in this book are listed below.
