Junior Bay Week Eleven members from the Erie Yacht Club’s race team competed in the Inter-Lake Yachting Associations 47th annual Junior Bay Week at Put in Bay, Ohio. There were 167 com- petitors and 96 boats, making this the largest Junior Bay in I-LYA his- tory. Four CFJ’s and one Laser from the EYC raced from Monday, July 22 through Thursday, July 25 in a steady 12-17 knot breeze. The first two days of racing consisted of the elimination round where the top six boats from each fleet were placing 5th in the Bemis Championship Series in CFJ’s.
