If you don’t know what Record Store Day is by now, where you have been? Sound Records is a brand new partnership between local DJs and record dealers Sean Roe (JunKroom Records) and Tom Monobrow (Stroud Calling, Stroud Block Party), whose dream of opening a record store only became a reality about six months ago. After snapping up an empty lot at the bottom end of Gloucester Street in Stroud (just round the corner from the exquisite Fat Toni’s) and weeks of crate digging and assembling Ikea furniture, Sound Records is now open for business.
